Super cozy, thick knit pullover sweater that can be worn as a tunic with leggings or as a pullover. Intended to be worn oversize, but you can size down if you want more of a classic v-neck look.

Handmade by a poineer fair trade organization in Nepal. Funds from sales go to pay for free primary education and skills training for the community. The organization provides jobs for women, so they are able to work from home.

Hand wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry. No bleach. Do not machine wash or use hot water. Do not soak! This is a hand-spun yarn so wash delicately! If you are using vinegar as a detergent use only a few tablespoons of clear (not apple cider) otherwise use a detergent safe for wool. Wool has natural cleaning properties, so we recommend fewer washes.

I am deeply in love with the color, materials, pattern, weight, quality of this sweater!!! My only complaint is the the oversized-ness is, for me, a bit too oversized. I usually wear a size XS in most brands (5'6", 125 lbs) and the sweater in XS/S is bulky on me to the point of being almost ridiculous. I do like an oversize sweater, I think they work well on my lanky frame, but I am swimming in it.
I debated long and hard about whether I could accept the size because it's just a tiny bit too far over the line, and I love love love everything else about it! I finally came to the sad conclusion that I would send it back and hope maybe it would come out in a smaller size next year... and then I realized that I got it half off so I cannot return it. So I have kept it and worn it a few times, and it feels casual and a bit silly but it's also cozy so I am enjoying it. If you fit more into the middle of the size ranges and have some room to choose your level of oversized-ness, I highly recommend this sweater, it's lovely.
