Hand dyed 100% wool yarn that was sourced from Nepal. If you have very sensative skin, plan to wear a long sleeve t under this sweater. It is 100% farmer sourced wool so is a bit itchier than man-made fiber sweater.

Production

Handmade in Nepal by an organization that gives training programs to women, so they are able to work from their home while carrying for their family. Income from these projects supports more training programs, an orphanage and free primary school for 250 students. Certified fair trade by the world fair trade organization.

Pricing

This sweater should cost $203.50 with a standard retail mark-up, but because you are getting this directly from the producer we are able to offer it at half the price!

Care Instructions

Hand wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry. No bleach. Do not machine wash or use hot water. Do not soak! This is a hand-spun yarn so wash delicatly! If you are using vinager as a detergant use only a few tablespoons of clear (not apple cider) otherwise use a detergant safe for wool. Wool has natural cleaning properties, so we recommend fewer washes.
