The fabric of this dress is hand-dyed and handwoven by a family that has been weaving high quality textiles for many years. The yarn is dyed, then spun by hand, and then finally handwoven into these stripes. The texture in this piece comes from the dying and weaving process.

M - Across under arm 21, at dropped waist 20, length of top of sleeve 6 1/2, length shoulder to waist 17, length of skirt 25
L - Across under arm 22 1/2, at dropped waist 21 1/2, length of top of sleeve 6 3/4, length shoulder to waist 17 3/4, length of skirt 25 3/4

*Please note this is intended to be an oversized fit.
Care Instructions: Machine or hand wash in cold water and gentle cycle. Line dry. No bleach. Iron on medium heat when needed.

I took a chance based on the finished garment measurements and bought this dress in a small. I’m normally a large/size 12 but pear-shaped so I can wear medium and small sometimes on top. I don’t love an oversized look so I wanted to size down for a fitted look- and the small looks great! If I wanted an oversized look I’d still size down to medium, I think the large would be way too big for me. I’m 5’7” and it hits me just below my knee. I got the mustard and cream color and it’s beautiful.

This dress just arrived, and I couldn't wait to try it on. As with all Liz Alig clothing, the fabric and construction are spot on. It's such a nice casual dress that can be worn through all the seasons. The medium fits me just right (155lbs, 5'8", 36C)

This dress is perfect. The fabric is good quality and mid-weight, the length is right, the fit is relaxed and comfortable without looking sloppy, and it has pockets!
Looks great at work with flats, or I can wear it casually with sneakers.

I love this dress! The material is very high quality and lovely in appearance and touch, and it is well made too. There are no loose seams or raggedy stitching on this dress. I bought it to wear during the warmer months and I can tell that this will be in regular rotation in my wardrobe.
