Blythe from Dressember shares her style tips

Meet Blythe, founder of Dressember, a community of international advocates utilizing fashion + creativity to help end human trafficking!

Blythe not only has really good style, but is incredibly inspiring because she took something as everyday as a dress and used it to raise over 11 million dollars to help fight human trafficking! If you aren't familiar check out their December campaign of wearing a dress everyday of December.

Blythe helped style our Katie Crop Set and shares a bit of her inspiration and styling tips...

-Who inspires you right now? Always loving Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

-What are you reading? Currently reading American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins; almost finished and highly recommend.

-One simple thing that has gotten you through the past year and quarantine. Going outside, moving my body.

-A clothing styling tip? I love a French Tuck

-A beauty product you love: Unseen Sunscreen by Supergoop. I also recently bought an eyeshadow palette from Mented and love it

-1 styling/creative "rule" you like to break. I kind of hate when things match too much. I like contrast, and find it more interesting visually

-What piece of advice would you tell yourself ten years ago? You've got time, baby girl.

-What are you most proud of? I'm proud of Dressember, and the incredible community of advocates I get to be a part of through Dressember

-How would you describe your own style? Artsy Ethical

-What is the best way to empower young women? Encourage them that their voice matters, and find ways to amplify particularly marginalized female voices

-What are some of your favorite sustainable or fair trade products or brands? Love Liz Alig,Tradlands, Girlfriend, Nisolo...
