Meet Shelby - she has styled boxes for Stitch Fix and now Wearwell; today she passes on some of her wisdom and styled our Charlie Jumpsuit with a few other ethical brands...

What are you learning right now?
Right now, I am working to not only minimize my closet, but also to minimize our home. My husband and I are looking to downsize from our current home next spring to move in with some friends. I'm learning that I place a lot of sentimental value on things that really aren't that sentimental.
One simple thing that has gotten you through the past year and quarantine?
Journaling. I am an avid writer, and being able to write about the quarantine and endless news cycle of 2020 and 2021 has given me a place to process.
One clothing styling tip.
Highlight the parts of your body you love; your waist with tucks and belts, your arms with sleeveless pieces, your legs with skinny jeans or dresses.
One beauty product you love.
I just got one of those hairbrush hair driers, and I love it! I typically don't use heat tools on my hair but this is easy, fast, and works wonderfully. I highly recommend it!
1 styling/creative "rule" you like to break.
Rules are meant to be broken!
What tool, object, or ritual could you not live without in your workday.
Coffee and my weekly affirmation. Coffee for the routine and something warm and my affirmation to get me focused and set the tone for the day.
What does the world need more of/less of?
More kindness. Less judgment
What piece of advice would you tell yourself ten years ago?
Just because it doesn't look the way you thought it would doesn't mean it isn't amazing.
What are you most proud of?
Learning to use my eye of art & design to become a stylist & share that with an audience.
How would you describe your own style?
I describe my style as Naturally Elegant. I prefer natural fibers and even though I don't have anywhere to go, I like to get dressed and feel elegant for whatever I am doing each day. Head to toe from earrings to shoes.
What do you do for work and what is the most fulfilling thing about it?
I am a stylist with Wearwell, an ethical fashion subscription brand that I love. Getting to share ethical fashion with others is my passion & helping women look and feel confident is how we create a culture of empowered women.
What are some of your favorite sustainable or fair trade products or brands?
I love The Root Collective (the yellow shoes below), their pieces are heirloom quality and easy to wear everyday.
