HAND KNIT SWEATERS

Our sweaters are hand knit by a pioneer fair trade organization in Nepal. Sales of the sweater help fund free training skills in knitting, carpet weaving and carpentry.

Sweaters are knit by graduates of the program who can work from their homes while carring for young children.

WHY LIZ ALIG DRESSES?

- Our dresses are designed with you in mind...to make you feel both beautiful and comfortable. Our designs have been tested for years for the perfect fit.

- Every piece is handmade in small, fair trade workshops. Typically the people who make our clothes make double the wage of those in large mass-production factories.

- We prioritize quality. Our textiles are carefully sourced. We design with handloomed cotton, recycled premium linen, plus farmer sourced wool and alpaca.

HAND-LOOMED COTTON

We partner with a small family-run business in India to weave the fabric for our sets. These patterns are all custom designed and woven using ancestorial looms and skills passed down generations. The fabric has a beautiful texture because each thread is woven into the piece by hand.
